About him
He holds an M.Sc. from Madurai Kamaraj University and has qualified UGC-JRF (NET) and IIT GATE. He has six years of research experience at a CSIR laboratory and has served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry for two years.
His research contributions include four international research publications and one patent. He has also presented his research at national and international conferences. In addition, he is a Certified Internal Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025, with experience in laboratory quality standards and compliance.
About him
Mr. Pari K is an Assistant Director (Retired) from the Forensic Sciences Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, with an extensive 34-year career in forensic science.
His professional experience includes 20 years of laboratory work and 14 years of field investigation. During his service, he participated in the examination of more than 2,000 scenes of crime, contributing to numerous forensic investigations.
During his tenure in the Toxicology Division, he worked extensively on female infanticide cases in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts. Of the 36 cases examined, poison was detected in 17 cases, resulting in the alteration of cases to murder and contributing significantly to efforts to curb reported cases of female infanticide.
In field investigations, he supported investigating teams through the application of scientific and forensic methods. His contributions to police investigations were recognised on seven occasions by the Director General of Police (DGP)during State Police Duty Meet events.
